Food Review:
|
My son hardly ate because he was so
excited about the Pooh characters (although we had been to other
character meals). They did have a kids' buffet area, though. I
thought the food was wonderful. I had a piece of pizza from the
kids' area (ok), they had lots of kinds of bread and cold cuts
(really good), many kinds of salad, and about 5 hot entrees. I
tried the jambalaya (terrific) and the Chicken Caesar pasta (also
terrific) and some other kind of pasta which (tortellini, I think)
didn't make much of an impression, wonderful mashed potatoes with
caramelized leeks. Dessert was strawberry shortcake, ice cream
with toppings, cookies, lemon bars, brownies. The lemon bars were
some of the best I've ever tasted! |
Service Review:
|
Ok. Pretty much drinks only since
it was a buffet. |
Atmosphere Review:
|
Atmosphere was awful. It was so noisy
we could hardly hear across the table. It seemed a shame to
waste such good food in such a hectic and hurried
atmosphere. (Part of this was probably because I had my 3 year old
alone, Dad wasn't there to help). |

Would go again for the food but would
try to pick a quieter time of day. (Editor's note:
There really isn't a quieter time of day at Crystal Palace.) |
