Brian's Review
Boatwright's is very good and highly recommended. Hanging from the ceiling of the main seating floor is a
half- completed
scow. Various wood working tools are
mounted from the walls, too. The theme might make you think the atmosphere is too
mechanical or factory-like. Actually, though, the wooden floors, large fireplace, and
small tables make this a very comfortable place to have a meal. The food is American, with
a slightly southern influence. Catfish, chicken, steak, and so on highlight the menu. I
didn't like the pecan pie...too many pecans and too little pie. The best feature of this
restaurant is the top-notch service. It is generally excellent.
