Priority Seating / Reservations Comments:

Despite a priority seating reservation, we still waited about 20 minutes to be seated.

Time of Wait:

We had about a 20 minute wait to be seated which we spent out on the observation deck watching the monorails go by. It was very pleasant out there and not too windy.

Food Review:

Our order consisted of a toy box tomato flatbread appetizer, 2 tamarind barbecue beef filets and 2 sea bass with shrimp and lemongrass risotto. For dessert, we had key lime soufflés. The flatbread made a nice appetizer but wasn't so special that I'd order it again. The men raved about their beef filets. My husband claims it's the best beef he's ever eaten. I thought the sea bass was marvelous and it's rare that I'll finish an entire entree but I did this time. My mother wasn't happy with her bass. Afterward, she said that she doesn't like bass but she felt pressured into ordering it after asking the server if the salmon or the bass was better. The server recommended the bass. I didn't think the server was being overbearing. None of us cared for the soufflés and I wouldn't order those again. If you like soufflés, you'd be happy but we realized that we just don't like soufflés!

Service Review:

Very efficient but not particularly friendly. No complaints.

Atmosphere Review:

We were seated next to a window on the Seven Seas Lagoon side of the restaurant where we were able to watch the sun set over the Grand Floridian Resort. This was a wonderful place to treat my parents to dinner!

Other Comments:

This is one of the best restaurants I've had the opportunity to try on the Disney property. While it doesn't beat out Victoria & Albert's, it's a wonderful restaurant and high on my list of places to try more than once.
