We had wanted to get a seating for Saturday night, but they were full. Even off season this restaurant is busy.

Approximately ten minutes -- they give you a buzzer to hold so they can call you.

Food Review:

The food hardly needs my endorsement. This is an award-winning restaurant. We ordered the three-cheese flatbread for starters, and it was plenty for two. He had a pork tenderloin special and I had mesquite-grilled salmon served on a bed of romaine. With our entrees we were served a very nice sourdough bread. California wines complemented our food wonderfully. For dessert we ordered a special chocolate soufflé. It takes 30 minutes to prepare, but was worth the wait. Meanwhile we sipped coffee and admired the view.

Service Review:

Our waiter was friendly and professional. He had helpful advice on wine selection. I ordered my salmon without its customary bacon topper, because I don't eat red meat, so he offered to bring it on a separate plate for my husband to eat instead, which was thoughtful and not required of him. He was busy handling a large table nearby but still maintained a high level of service to us.

Atmosphere Review:

We asked for a window seat and got it; we had a view to the west and watched the sun go down and the lights come on that light up the Cinderella castle. The Grand Floridian is also clearly in view across the Seven Seas Lagoon and adds to the view. The restaurant is 15 stories up, so the view is really great. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is sophisticated without being stuffy. It has a pleasant amount of bustle and warmth. The decor is beautiful, sleek and contemporary, as you would expect at the Contemporary Resort.

Other Comments:

I would love to dine here again sometime--food and service were excellent! We managed to spend over two hours there and enjoyed every minute.
