We were seated immediately which was a
surprise since we had a large party which included a toddler and an
infant. |
Food Review: |
This is billed as a New England Clam
Bake. It's a large buffet with steamers, peel and eat shrimp, baked
fish, corn on the cob, grilled chicken, plenty of salad and desserts
among other selections. There's a separate buffet section for
children with chicken fingers, fried shrimp and macaroni and cheese.
I wasn't all that impressed with this buffet. For only a few dollars
more, my husband and I could have had an outstanding meal at the
Flying Fish. The salad bar was very good but I wasn't that keen
about the steamers. I ended up with fried shrimp from the children's
buffet! My husband had a small salad and some grilled chicken. My
sister-in-law loves this restaurant and returns every trip, eating
at least two buckets of clams. |
Service Review: |
We had a very nice server (Durland) who
was unfortunately losing his voice. He kept our drinks refilled
constantly and never had to ask for a thing. |
Atmosphere Review: |
The seating area is quite large and
roomy. We found it comfortable. |

If you like clams, this is a good place
for you. Otherwise, I think you could spend your money better
elsewhere. |
