Food Review: |
Usually Flying Fish is one of our
favorites, but this time it was somewhat uninspired. Food was good
(corn chowder and swordfish for me and salad and crab cakes for my
wife) but nothing really stood out. |
Service Review: |
Not great. Again, waiter was somewhat
uninspired. He brought kid's food way too early (before we even had
appetizers, so they were done well before we were even served).
Overall speed was not great either. |
Atmosphere Review: |
I still love the whimsical look of this
restaurant. We were seated over in the corner to the back left
(underneath the tent area). It's out of the flow of the restaurant
and somewhat intimate, which is fine if that is what you want (we
did not, however, so it was not the best table for us). I think this
added to the lackluster feel of this meal. |
Other Comments: |
Flying Fish dropped a couple notches
because of this meal. It was fine, but nothing really special and
our previous visits to this restaurant had been much
better. |
