Food Review: |
I had salad and the crab cakes.
Both were very good, but the crab cakes were pretty small (two
about the size of a ping pong ball). My mom got the special
which was the grouper with bones and head. It tasted good, but
was a pain because of the bones. My husband got a fish stew
type dish (kind of similar to cioppino) which was okay though
not great. My mom's husband got some sort of chicken which he
liked. The kids split the steak that they wolfed down. All in
all the dishes were fairly good. We also ordered the volcano
cake which we had heard was great. My husband really liked it,
but neither my mom or myself cared that much for it. |
Service Review: |
We had mixed feelings about the
service. On the one hand our waitress was very friendly and
willing to answer all questions, we did have a problem because
we waited for an hour for our food and when we asked a bus
person to find our waitress to find out what's happening with
our food she didn't even come over, but another waiter came
over to tell us that all the food was cooked fresh which is
why it was taking so long (though other tables were getting
their food without problem) and our waitress never
acknowledged our complaint. |
Atmosphere Review: |
The place was a zoo. They stuck us
in the very back in a corner so we really didn't get to see
much of the place. |
Other Comments: |
We're up in the air about whether
we'd do this place again only because we all had mixed
feelings about the food and the
service. |
