Priority Seating / Reservations Comments: |
Our PS time was at 6:00, which is the
same time the restaurant opens. When we arrived a few minutes ahead
of time, there were already several people waiting. They seated us
all quickly at 6:00 when the restaurant opened, but the place did
not fill up at that time. Thus, to avoid minor wait in the future,
make a reservation for 6:15 and I am sure you will be seated
immediately. |
Time of Wait: |
5 minutes (as discussed, this was only
because we were early and the restaurant had not opened yet). |
Food Review: |
Very good Italian food. Several different
pasta dishes were all quite well received. Very nice wine list also
(although when they were out of the wine the waiter originally
suggested, he tried to suggest an alternative that was twice as
expensive). |
Service Review: |
Except for the minor wine incident stated
above, service was very friendly, pleasant and attentive. |
Atmosphere Review: |
Very colorful and nicely decorated
restaurant. |
Other Comments: |
First time to Palio and I will definitely
go back. It is expensive, but not as bad as I had been led to
believe (in the Disney guidebook listing all the restaurants, it is
given the highest price classification, but I did not find it to be
any more expensive than several other of the nice WDW restaurants,
such as California Grill, Citricos or Yachtsman Steakhouse).
