Food Review:
|
The all u can eat smoked Barbeque is
why we came, and since this was our first night ever at the WL we
thought this would be a great start to the vacation. We liked the
Ribs and Turkey on the platter, everything else was a
disappointment.
Breakfasts were much better. Mom & Kids loved the
Pancakes, Waffles and sausage Dad liked the smokehouse made KC
hash. |
Service Review:

Service was fine all three times. No
antics by our waitresses, but they were accommodating. |
Atmosphere Review:

The down home country feeling was great
for breakfast at the lodge, you felt like you were camping.
The dinner antics were entertaining but kids need to be older than
toddlers to appreciate. |

The antics were not handled correctly
for our daughters in the pony race. The bulk of the kids took off
while our 2 year old just stood there. The leader sent her off on
her way behind the pack, all alone. On the first turn she was lost
and began to panic. Not really anyone's fault but little sisters
have to do what their older sisters do and there was no stopping
her. This was the only time she cried all week, and our first
night there. The restaurant was so empty and she calmed down fine,
I just thought some of the staff would have offered words of
encouragement to her or tried to cheer her up as we were doing. |
