Priority Seating / Reservations Comments:

Made priority seating reservations via telephone approximately 30 days before departing.

Time of Wait:

1 hour and 15 minutes. It was horrible. Our seating time was for 5:30 PM. It had just started raining hard about 5:10 and I assume many saw this who were already eating and decided to slow down a bit and keep eating. Perhaps ordering desert when they wouldn't have, things like that. But even so, we were not seated until 6:45 PM. To me, this was totally unacceptable.

Food Review:

The food however was great. I had the fried chicken which was very good. My wife had the pot roast, also good. Grandmom had the chicken also, and Pop-Pop had the meatloaf. The children had hot dogs and fries.

Service Review:

Our server was fine. Not overly interactive like some of the other tables. But in her defense, our whole section (about 4-5 tables) had just come out of the rain and had waited an hour to eat. So we all were a little weary and less than the perfect audience by then.

Atmosphere Review:

Pop-Pop was reprimanded to get his elbows off the table. I was told that wearing a baseball hat to the dinner table was unacceptable (at which point grandmom burst out laughing since she's told me that for years). One little boy at another table was told to go stand in the corner for fighting with his sister. It was fun and I'm sure on any other day, without the downpour and long wait time, would have been great.

Other Comments:

The food and service was fine, the wait time however was not. It bothered me that I had made my reservation well in advance, and picked the time that I wanted to eat based on having time to get to Fantasmic! (which we missed because we didn't finish dinner until 7:40PM and Fantasmic! started at 7:30PM, that hour really messed us up) I don't know if I would eat here again. It was quite a contrast to other PS's we have had in other parks in WDW and didn't seem to be handled very well (a simple apology by ANYONE for the long wait time would have gone a long, long way towards easing the situation)
