We were originally interested in the
Fantasmic! Dining Experience, so we had to book through Guest Services
at our Hotel. We were a little dismayed to discover that they
wouldn't seat us any later than 5:50pm. It seems like having to eat
this early kind of defeats the whole purpose of the program.
Nonetheless, we went ahead and got a seating at 5:40pm. |

Food Review: |
We thought the food was good to
excellent. I had the Coconut-encrusted tofu dish, and it was really,
really good. The tofu was the best I've ever had, and the entire
dish was very flavorful. My father had the filet mignon, and he said
it was excellent. Mom wasn't as thrilled with the Cobb salad; it is
served with finely minced lettuce, which really wasn't what she had in
mind. For dessert I had the white chocolate cheesecake. The 100
years of magic celebration had just started, and the cheesecake was
topped with a edible replica of the giant sorcerer's hat. It was
delicious. |
Service Review: |
Good. The waiter offered suggestions and
was attentive. As is often the case with Disney restaurants, the
food was delivered a little too fast, producing a slightly rushed
feeling. |
Atmosphere Review: |
Nice place. The place exudes a subtle
hint of class. |

One of the best dinners I had while I was
at Disney. The Fantasmic! Dining Experience isn't worth the effort, though.
Admittedly, we were there during the off-season, but we got better
seats by showing up at 7:00 pm than we would have using the
Fantasmic! Dining Experience seating
pass. |
