Arrived early morning at the park. Family
stood on entrance line while I went to Guest Relations window. Got
PS for the H&V Fantasmic Dinner Package. (Fantasmic package at
Mama Melrose & Brown Derby were full). |
Time of Wait: |
10 minutes. Really practically nothing in
terms of waiting, but not "hello" and right inside either. |
Food Review: |
Food was good. Selection was somewhat
limited (this in comparison to our following day's dinner at the
Crystal Palace, for about the same $$$), but we all found some
things we liked. There's always some meat/beef dish, some
fowl/chicken, some fish, interesting sides, and a kid's corner with
hot dogs and chicken fingers, which, not knocking anything else,
happened to be excellent. (Make your own conclusions if the only
thing I remember after a month is the chicken fingers...) |
Service Review: |
Can't remember server's name, but she was
fine. Kept refilling out drinks constantly, was very friendly and
helpful (especially with my 9 year old changing his drink order
every 15 minutes), but otherwise, with this being a buffet setting,
played little part in the "meal" per-say. |
Atmosphere Review: |
No characters here for dinner, so little
action other than eating. Ambience & decor? I'd call it
transparent. Not negative, but definitely bland enough not to be a
factor in this dining experience. |
Other Comments: |
Actually, I had a PS for 50's Prime Time
Cafe, which my zany family would have loved, just in case the
Fantasmic package places were full. We, in fact, only ate here for
the package, but we're glad we did. The amphitheater was PACKED
before 7:30 (Fantasmic starts at 8:00), so in that respect it was
worth it. As for the meal, "OK", not
more. |
