Food Review: |
We ordered red wine, and for starters he
ordered a salad and I ordered the vegetarian minestrone soup. It was
good, but a little salty for my taste, as I don't use a lot of salt
normally. He liked his salad. We both had a pesto-encrusted salmon
with pasta, and it was very good. They have a large selection of
tempting desserts, too, so we ordered the chocolate cake and lemon
meringue pie. The cake was a multi-layered torte, very rich and
delicious. The lemon pie looked more like a lemon cream pie to me;
it was a round individual pie with whipped cream topping. I usually
think of lemon meringue pie as having a bright yellow bottom layer
and a meringue top, but this wasn't like that. |
Service Review: |
The server was very good, attending to
whatever we needed. He had a nice way of placing the flatware
upside-down against our plate rims rather than directly on the
tabletop that I appreciated. |
Atmosphere Review: |
It's a cozy Italian style place with
Italian popular music, including music from "Lady and the Tramp".
Unfortunately we were there long enough so that the tape loop
started over again and we were hearing the same selections for the
second time. |

I would recommend this restaurant as a
nice place to eat while you are at Disney MGM
Studios. |
