Burger Invasion
Burger Invasion closed permanently on September 2, 2008. This page is kept here for historical interest.
Though you wouldn't know it from the name, Burger Invasion was actually a McDonald's.
Though the menu was a bit more limited than a regular McDonald's (no Filet o'
Fish, for example) pretty much all the standards were available. The counter-service
location had no indoor seating. There was more than ample seating outside, though
you were surrounded by the noise of Mulholland Madness and there wasn't much
shade on hot days.
The restaurant, along with Harbour Galley and Conestoga Fries in Disneyland,
closed on September 2, 2008 when the contract between McDonald's and the Disneyland
Resort ended. The Disneyland Resort has not made an official announcement about
the fate or future of this former restaurant location, though varied rumors
suggest that the venue will be transformed into anything from a generic burger
stand to a German-style beer garden.
