Pollo Campero is a chain of fried chicken restaurants founded in Guatamala back in 1971. Their Latin-inspired fried chicken finally broke into the American marketplace in 2002 and they've been expanding since. The restaurant is split between three counters. The Pollo Campero counter offers chicken, both fried and grilled, along with a variety of side dishes. The Fresh A-Peel counter offers organic burgers and eight kinds of salad. A separate desserts counter offers fresh-baked gourmet cupcakes from Babycakes NYC.

The building was built in 1997 and originally gave home to a very fancy McDonald's restaurant. It was part of a decade long marketing deal between McDonald's and Disney but when that agreement ended 1996 all of the in park McDonald's locations quickly disappeared. This location remained open and most assumed it would survive, but its closure was announced in early 2010.
