Camp Minnie-Mickey Greeting Trails

The Greeting Trails are a series of small pavilions for meeting Disney characters. In one section you can find Winnie the Pooh and friends, another has Rafiki, Timon, or Baloo. Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse both have their own sections (with Goofy and Pluto stepping in when they need to take a break).

General Information - Hide Section
  • Location: At the back of Camp Minnie-Mickey beyond the Festival of the Lion King.
  • Date Opened: 4/22/1998
  • Capacity: Each area can have several dozen families waiting.
  • # of Shows: Continuous throughout the day (though there may be small gaps as characters swap in and out.
  • Characters: Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Rafiki, Timon, Baloo, Terk, Minnie Mouse, and Mickey Mouse all appear regularly, other characters may make appearances.
  • Photos and Autographs: Yes
 
Time Commitment Information - Hide Section
  • Wait Times: Lines can build up during the periods between showings of Festival of the Lion King. During a performance of Festival of the Lion King lines will almost completely evaporate and more time can be spent with characters.
  • Length of Show: A minute or two each character.
  • FastPass: No
  • Queue Description: The whole area is landscaped to look like a Northeastern cedar and birch forest though the individual queues don't have much theming.

  • Health Restriction: None
  • Ride Access: The queues and character greeting areas are accessible to wheelchairs and ECVs.
  • Wheelchair Transfer: Not necessary
  • Service Animals: Yes
  • Audio: Most, and usually all, of the characters appearing here are not allowed to speak.
