The Disney Gallery
The Disney Gallery closed permanently on August 7, 2007. This page is kept here for historical interest.
The Disney Gallery is part store and part attraction. Originally part of the space Walt Disney originally designed for hosting VIPs, the space has the look of an apartment with an interior courtyard. Even without the merchandise and gallery exhibits, the courtyard has tables and is an oasis of quiet, and the balcony (closed evenings with performances of Fantasmic!) provides a good view of New Orleans Square and the Rivers of America. The gallery space hosts changing exhibits of Disney, Disneyland, and attraction history.
For those interested in a closer look at the gallery, 20-minute tours are available on the hour throughout the afternoon (2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and are free and don't require a reservation.
