Al's Toy Barn is a character meeting opportunity. As you could probably guess from the name the characters statoined here are from the Toy Story movies.

  • Location: The left side of the backlot area, before the San Francisco street facade.
  • Date Opened: 7/27/2000
  • Capacity: Quite a few people can wait in line for each character. The greet is actually just outside on the street, with Al's Toy Barn being a facade that you can't enter.
  • # of Shows: Continuous throughout the day with a several hour break in the early afternoon (when it is hottest).
  • Characters: Toy Story Characters
  • Photos and Autographs: Yes

  • Wait Times: Character lines can move slowly since each interaction is different. Generally they shouldn't take more than 10 or 15 minutes, but there is no guarantee that the character at the front of the line won't change before you get there.
  • Length of Show: Varies from person to person
  • FastPass: No
  • Queue Description: None

  • Health Restriction: None
  • Ride Access: The character meetings happen on the street, so they are fully accessible to wheelchairs and ECVs.
  • Wheelchair Transfer: Not necessary
  • Service Animals: Yes
  • Audio: There is no audio element to these meetings; all of the Toy Story characters are fully costumed which means they are not allowed to speak.
