Grizzly Peak

Grizzly Peak celebrates the wild, natural areas of the state, such as the majestic redwood forests and rugged Rocky Mountains. The large number of trees in this area tend to give it a sense of calm, and help to make it feel cooler than other areas of the park. The main features are the park's water ride, Grizzle River Run, and the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, where parents can let kids climb and explore to blow off some steam.

This area also provides an oddity among Disney theme parks with a second entrance. Located near Grizzly River Rapids it provides direct access to the Grand California Hotel. Sometimes entering (but not exiting) by this gate may be limited to Disney hotel guests, especially early in the park operating day.
