Mad Tea Party

Mad Tea Party is one of the original Magic Kingdom attractions, and is inspired by the 1951 animated feature Alice in Wonderland. 18 giant teacups rotate on moving platforms as guests try to increase the spin by turning a centeral wheel. Unlike the Disneyland version of this ride, it is almost completely protected from the elements and remains open during bad weather. At the center of the attraction is a giant teapot, from which the Dormouse appears during each ride to take in the action.
