High School Musical 3: Senior Year—Right Here! Right Now!

This rolling concert gets the audience involved with acts inspired by the hit Disney Channel franchise. The show began in 2007 to coincide with the release of High School Musical 2 but has been updated for High School Musical 3. In addition to the choreographed musical numbers young audience members may be pulled out of the crowd participate.

  • Location: High School Musical 3 steps off at the Parade gates near Silly Symphony Swings and travels down to the Winery where it stops. When it ends it makes a sharp turn and exits through the Parade gates near Mission Tortilla Factory.

  • Capacity: Thousands can get a decent view at the show stops.

  • Characters: While the performers are from the same high school as in the movie, none are explicitly intended to be the characters from the movies.

  • The Show's History: The High School Musical-spawned shows at Disney's California Adventure began in October 2006 with High School Musical: Pep Rally. The show was then updated on August 17, 2007, for the release of High School Musical 2 and the name was changed to High School Musical 2: School's Out. Then again on October 24, 2008, the show was changed to coincide with the theatrical release of High School Musical 3.
