Aladdin and Jasmine at Aladdin's Oasis closed permanently in 2008. This page is kept here for historical interest.

Aladdin and Jasmine at Aladdin's Oasis is a very pleasant surprise. The show quickly recaps the Aladdin story, and incorporates audience interaction. The show is followed by a photo and autograph session with Aladdin, Jasmine, and Kazoo (who narrates the story and also plays Genie). Previously a dining location, the theater has its own restrooms restrooms and multiple levels of seating with comfortable chairs. Floor seating in front of the stage is available for children, and it is from this area that children will be selected to participate.

History and Trivia - Hide Section
  • At this location: This space was first used in 1962 when the Tahitian Terrace restaurant opened. Along with the meal there was a presentation of a Polynesian themed show featuring music and dancing. The restaurant lasted more than 30 years before closing on April 17, 1993, to be replaced by Aladdin's Oasis.

Opening July 2, 1993, Aladdin's Oasis was an attempt to present the same kind of experience while capitalizing on the success of the recent Aladdin movie. During a several course meal diners would be entertained with song, dance, and character skits from the movie. This combination only lasted through the summer of 1994, however. When the restaraunt reopened in the summer of 1995 the stage was still present but nobody was performing. In 1996, the restaurant didn't even open, and when the space finally reopened in 1997 it was in it's current form with just a show and no longer serving food.
  • The Attraction's History: The show has been through a number of minor and major changes over its years of production. For most of its run it was show that included significant elements of improvisation by the actors playing Kazoo/Genie and Barker Bob (now named Kazeem). Eventually, however, the improvisational elements were removed from the show.
