This party is an adult's only chance to dress up like Alice while riding the teacups, as normally adults aren't allowed into the park in costume. Children can also have fun dressing as their favorite characters and collecting candy. Disneyland will close early on the nights of this event so that the entire park can be transformed.
Hours: Parties on Mondays and Tuesdays run from 6:00p.m. to 11:00p.m. Friday nights and Halloween night the party runs from 7:00p.m. to midnight.
Rides and Dining: Most major rides and restaurants are open during the party, including Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and Haunted Mansion Holiday. See special park guides when entering for a complete list.
Trick-or-Treating: Scattered throughout the park are trick-or-treating stations where you (and your kids if you feel like sharing) can load up on candy.

Costumes: Adults are not usually allowed to wear costumes into the parks but this is your chance, you can even attend dressed as Disney characters. Disney does reserve the right to reject specific costumes so do try to keep yours family appropriate and not dangerous to yourself or others. If you're dressed as a Disney character, regardless of how good the costume is, you cannot pose for other guests' photographs or sign autographs.
Halloween Screams Fireworks: A special Halloween-themed fireworks display just for party guests.
Mickey's Costume Party: A mini-parade featuring two floats featuring the Disney characters in costume and their decoration skills. Performed twice during each event, before and after the fireworks.

Family Dance Parties: Dance with your family, characters, and other party attendees at one of two dance floor set up for the evening. Piratepalooza at Rancho del Zocalo restaurant is hosted by Goofy and his swashbuckling friends. Over at Tomorrowland Terrace, Buzz Lightyear's Intergalactic Space Jam will feature a live DJ.
The Attraction's History: From 2005 through 2009 the Disneyland Resort's big Halloween Party event was held in Disney California Adventure under the name Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party. In 2010 the combination of the popular World of Color water show and extensive construction throughout the park sparked a move across the esplanade for 2010. Time will tell if it remains this way for a while or moves back to DCA in 2011.
