Hotel New York

Situated on Lake Disney, just past the Disney Village complex, this is the second-closest hotel to the park (5-10 minutes walk). It is quite similar to Walt Disney World Swan/Dolphin resorts Very plush, but absent the normal Disney theme.

There are 574 rooms, 36 suites and 13 rooms for the handicapped. All rooms have mini-bar and air conditioning. There are indoor & outdoor heated pools (although they will be closed during November 1999). There is a health club, two tennis courts, skating rink, beauty salon/barbers shop, a Laundry and dry cleaning service and a baby-sitting service

Restaurants in the hotel include the Parkside Diner (a 1950's corner restaurant) and Manhattan Restaurant (a gourmet eatery). Bar/Lounges in the hotel include the New York City Bar (themed after a typical American style bar and a poolside bar.

Free water taxi rides to the Newport Bay Club Hotel are provided.

Package rates range from $ 200-$ 300 per night, and include park admission.
