Adventure Isle - Part Two

Adventure Isle

One of the largest attractions in Adventureland at Disneyland Paris is the area called Adventure Isle.

Adventure Isle

Last year I wrote about one half of the attraction, here is the rest of the story. In the first part I wrote about Spyglass Hill, Pirates Grotto and Skull Rock, here I will focus on La Cabane des Robinson, better known as the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

La Cabane des Robinson

Based on similar attractions in Disneyland and Walt Disney World, this attraction is the center point of Adventureland in Paris. Rising high above the surrounding areas, it can be seen from everywhere in the land.

La Cabane des Robinson

The main difference with this version of the treehouse is in the detail and size of the surrounding areas. Rather than being squeezed into the land, it occupies its own large island, complete with underground caves.
