Armageddon

Behind what will be the Tower of Terror, you find the other attraction that has a link back to DCA. Although it did not actually make it into the California park, the Armageddon attraction has made it to Paris.

Walt Disney Studios Paris

Walt Disney Studios Paris

Following a briefing in a small preshow area, about 80 guests enter the main show area, where they find themselves standing on a small room about 40 feet in diameter and made to look like the inside of a space station.

Small view screens are opened around so you can see the meteors as they hit the station. The room shakes as it starts to fall apart, building up to a final set of effects that include flames, decompression and an explosion.

Walt Disney Studios Paris

This is not a bad attraction, but it is not great: it is well behind the effects seen in both Twister or Backdraft at Universal Studios. It does not really give you any sense of suspense or excitement.

Moteurs …Action! – Stunt Show Spectacular

Walt Disney Studios Paris

Here is the star of Walt Disney Studios Paris. This had my interest from the start and kept me excited throughout, and has a great ending. This is a car-and-motorcycle stunt show that any theme park would be proud of.

Walt Disney Studios Paris

The action takes place in a Mediterranean village where an action film is being made. The show is packed with great stunt driving, humour, and excitement.

Walt Disney Studios Paris

There are car chases, motorbike chases, stunt falls, fire stunts, car jumps and more.

Walt Disney Studios Paris

This is the best attraction in the park and has great repeat viewing potential.

NEXT, let's get ready to "rock and roll," shall we?
