Oo la la! A look at Disney in France
Disneyland Paris: Unique Journeys - A photo essay by Ian Parkinson

Disney Studios Paris Construction- Part 3

Animation Courtyard

To the right of Lights, Camera, Hollywood you will find the Animation Courtyard area. There are three attractions here :

· The Art of Disney Animation
· Animagique
· The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

The building in the foreground (below) is called is the Art of Disney Animation; little is known about its contents at the moment, but rumor has it that it contains a copy of the animation attraction from Disney's California Adventure.

One of the most recent changes to this building is the addition of the Sorcery Mickey hat right over the entrance to the attraction.

Animagique is described in the Disney Shareholders pack as, "An extremely colourful show focusing on the interaction between animation and imagination, inspired by the great Disney Classics and their most moving and humorous moments." This building now has its full roof, and with exterior details being applied.

Below, Animagique

Another recent piece of construction started rumours about an attraction not previously mentioned in any of the park publicity. In the photo below you can just see a circular concrete construction that may become the base for a Dumbo-style ride.

Well it has now been confirmed that this will be a copy of the Aladdin ride being installed at WDW. It seems a strange location to place the ride; a better spot would have been in Adventureland near to the current Aladdin walk-through exhibit.
