The Disneyland Heralds lead the
Royal Fanfare.

Princesses on Parade - The Disney Princess Royal
Fanfare began last Friday. The processional
follows the normal Disneyland parade route, with one major exception.
Rather than traveling around Town Square, the processional starts at
the Main Street parade gate, and moves directly up Main Street.
Next, the banner carriers appear...

It then follows the parade route to Small World Mall, where the Princesses
stop for Meet & Greet. Four princesses participate in the Processional,
including Snow White on horseback.

From the unsubstantiated rumor file - A Cast Member
tells us that Disneyland has sold the Parade of the Stars floats to Tokyo
Disneyland, and the Electrical Parade will return to Main Street this
year. Juicy scoop, or urban legend? Only time will tell....
Confetti "rose petals"
are scattered along the parade route...

Christmas? Maybe later... - Its inventory depleted in the after-Christmas
sale, Le Boutique Noel in New Orleans Square has been closed. The remaining
scraps of holiday merchandise have been consolidated into the China Closet
on Main Street, leaving New Orleans Square with another vacant storefront.
Le Boutique Noel, which was often staffed only on weekends during the
off-season, may reopen when the Christmas preview merchandise arrives
later this spring.

appearance.

Want to give Disneyland a piece of your mind? - Applications are
being solicited for the 2003 Disneyland Resort Creative Advisory Council.
The council serves as a focus group for the Disneyland merchants, and
provides feedback on new products, merchandise special events and resort
programs. The group meets about 4 times during the year, and members get
to enjoy some behind-the-scenes experiences.

But I was going to wash my hair that night! - It is now safe
to make your plans for next October. With just 10 months to spare, Disneyland
has finally announced the dates for the 2003 Haunted Mansion Holiday events.
The Exclusive Dinner will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2003; and the
Haunted Mansion Holiday Event will be Thursday, October 2, 2003. Further
details will be announced at DisneyGallery.com
when they are finalized.
Of course, you may need this much notice to start saving for the $2000+
dinner....

Cinderella appear in horse-drawn carriages.

Disney is allowing guests in the military who are being deployed
to active duty to cancel their vacations without penalty. Usually there
is a minimum $200 cancellation charge.
