Passing through the portals of Cinderella Castle, you enter a land of enchantment drawn from the adventures of Pinocchio, Snow White, and Peter Pan. Besides the many attractions based on classic Disney animated films, there are plenty of shops to get that perfect souvenir or the many restaurants serving treats of all kinds, including the amazing Small World buffet where the foods of the many lands of the world are offered for your dining pleasure. Fantasyland was Walt's favorite part of the original Disneyland, it was the home of Mickey, Donald and friends. It was the land upon which he bestowed a great deal of personal attention, and some think it helped to make up for his frugal childhood. This tradition of attention to detail has followed through at every other Disney park. From the enchanting rides to the themed buildings, this land is truly a world of its own, fun for kids and adults alike, the young at heart will really feel at home here. The newest inhabitant of Fantasyland is Winnie the Pooh and company.
