From the peaks of Big Thunder Mountain to the majestic flow of the Rivers of America, the atmosphere of America's western frontier of the 19th century is re-created here. In Westernland, guests can meet cowboys, gold miners, and other denizens of the old West. There is even a troupe of talented, musical bears with a "grin-and-bear-it" style of country entertainment. The peak featured in Westernland is Big Thunder Mountain, a roller coaster ride through an old west mining town. While not as adventurous as some of the other coasters, this one sports a great amount of detail. Also in Westernland is the Rivers of America with the Mark Twain riverboat plying the waters. In the center of the waters is Tom Sawyer Island, complete with caves, forts and creepy graveyards. Westernland offers several shows. Goldtown Follies is a dance and music show at the Lucky Nugget. The Diamond Horsehoe Review and Hoop De Doo Revue are dance, music and entertainment shows at the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon.
