Lamp Theater & Sinbad's Seven Voyages (continued)
With each new
room comes a new adventure and Sinbad is always seen at the start
warning us about what is about to come.
We next see our hero in a
cave of gold and treasures, the crew is looting the booty.
However a giant genie can be
seen peeking through a crack in the cave and he does not seem happy.
As we round the bend we see
that the genie has captured several members of the crew. He lifts them
like dolls high into the air and above our heads.
The Genie is a large
anamatronic figure 20 or so feet tall.
We escape the wrath of the
genie and pass by several more scenes of elephants and wise elders
before coming to the scariest section of the attraction.
Back into more
dark caves we encounter crazy monkey men screaming and yelping at
us as they attack with rocks and spears.
Drums beat out a tribal
rhythm as the sun sets, we sneak past the monkeys but are not out of
peril. Sinbad is cowering in fear as
he warns us of the next adventure.
Up ahead is
yet another large animatronic figure. A huge whale is surfacing
to our right, some of the crew is trapped on his back, tossed into the
air on his spout of water. Thinking the whale was an island the crew has
been caught unprepared to deal with the situation.
