Part Six: More Mermaid's Lagoon / Arabian Coast

As we turn around from the previous view, we see... the Arabian Coast!

The following three shots are close-ups from the one above - so you can see the wonderful detail in this area:

Amazing isn't it? What I especially like are the forced perspective minarets - if they were real they'd be much taller. Looking back the other way from the surrounding area, you can see what's on the other side of the entry. Again we'll show you an establishing shot, and then close-ups from within it.

As you can see below, every surface is finished off. Unlike the California park.

Look at the tiled domes - you don't just buy those off the shelf you know.

In this shot below - we're at the far end of the Arabian Coast looking back toward Mt. Prometheus and the Mermaid's Lagoon. Doesn't this vista just take you away somewhere else - and it's just a photo, imagine being there.

Again, thanks to the high resolution of these shots, we can take you in a bit closer... the blue and red Disney Steamer Line boats run around the park in the canals. What's really nice here is how the Mermaid spires compliment the Arabian ones - a lot of care and thought was put into the designs and how they work with each other in their enviroments.
