Part Seven: Lost River Delta
Below you can see
the carvings and other brickwork. Hard to believe it's just cement and
stucco isn't it?

Moving over to the
right of the temple - you see the entrance to the ride, like the
Disneyland edition, you are at an archeological dig site...

Below are two
close-ups from the above shot - the first shows the entry sign and its
detailing...

The second shows
some of the design work done in the area - those trees are made of
cement, adorned with greenery. Again, thanks to work such as this you
really feel like you are somewhere else other than a theme park.

Stepping back a bit
gives you a better view of the temple and the ride building - look at
all the relief work done on the facade. Also note the handcrafting of
the bridge leading to the area, and the rustic fencing.

A close-up from the
above shot shows the entry / queue area, and the set up for
Fastpass. This park benefits from having Fastpass in right from the
start, it could be incorporated better into the design.
