Part Eleven: American Waterfront II

The photo below is taken with the S. S. Columbia to the right of you, and the Buffet behind you, Sakura is in front of you.

A detail from the above shot shows the buildings on the Mediterranean Harbor bridge to Fortress Explorations.  Note again the cars on the street, and the luggage carts in the above shot - they give a sense of life to the area.

Looking into the above area from the water provides the vista below...

A detail from the above shot should help orient you a bit more as to how this area works. Note the size and scale of the moored ships - amazing.

Nearby is the Broadway Music Theater - which plays "Encore!" a Broadway quality show from what I understand.

A close-up from the above shot shows the tremendous work that has gone into the facade - I've lived in NY - and except for the fact it is a bit too clean, the detailing is quite good here at reproducing something you would see in Manhattan.

Below are three details from the area which I found of particular interest - the first is a set of props on one of the steamer ships that shuttles you around the harbors...

The Restaurant Sakura sign is a hoot, the Christopher Columbus statue greets you at the entry to the area.

Next we'll visit Cape Cod - the other part of the American Waterfront area.
