There are several options for trying the food at Ralph Brennan's. The quickest is the Jazz Kitchen Express counter, a quick service adjunct to the main restaurant. In the morning, beignets and coffee are the primary draw. Later in the day you can get po-boy sandwiches as well as individual servings of jambalaya and gumbo.
In the main restaurant there are separate menus for brunch (weekends), lunch, and dinner. Each menu offers the Cajun staples as well as some more unique dishes for the more adventurous (perhaps Drunken Chicken, a chicken breast marinated in rum).
